6. Primavera Sound
Redesign proposal for the Primavera Sound 2022 (second weekend) poster and web page: Focus on bold titles, easily readable text, and color contrast.

Design Prompt

Design for two distinct media: a larger-sized poster and a simple website. Explore concepts such as grid and typographic scale, while emphasizing the hierarchy of information. The website component introduces additional design challenges, requiring  to create interactive elements to enhance user engagement and consider spatial and temporal aspects. While optional images can be incorporated, it is essential that both the poster and website prominently feature typography, allowing for various styles such as informative, expressive, experimental, or any other desired approach.

Proposal

According to the prompt, I proposed a redesign for the poster promoting the second week of the Primavera Sound festival in Barcelona. The color palette was inspired by the existing one but displayed in a more creative and dynamic manner, with a particular emphasis on contrast with the typography. Additionally, there was a focus on making the information accessible, ensuring ease of readability, and providing bold titles to highlight the festival's headliners.

For the website, the focus and goal were to translate the visual elements of the poster into an interface, while maintaining emphasis on bold titles and effective information display.
