1. Lushi

Stimulation Made Simple.

Lushi is a modern fertility and tech startup focused on a patient-first approach to healthcare.

The goal was to simplify the app, reducing clutter while retaining all critical functionalities. The redesign had to enhance usability, align with Lushi’s patient-focused values, and maintain consistency with their established brand and color palette.

Previous Design

The home screen placed strong emphasis on the fertility journey progress, which was a key user focus. However, the client aimed to ensure that other important app features were also easily discoverable. With multiple menu options and a busy layout, the screen presented challenges in providing a clear navigation path. This complexity made it harder for users to quickly engage with the full suite of available tools.

Redesign

To enhance usability and align with Lushi’s patient-first approach, the home screen was simplified to improve clarity and navigation. The fertility journey visualization was refined to maintain its importance while making space for other key features. Key actions, such as booking appointments, were prioritized through clear, top-level shortcuts. Additionally, the bottom menu was streamlined to reduce cognitive load and help users move more intuitively through the app.

Previous Design

The profile screen primarily offered a basic menu of account settings and support options. The client aimed to create a more personalized experience that could actively support users in managing their health journey. While functional, the existing design did not fully enable users to track their progress or manage upcoming appointments easily, limiting its ability to engage users as part of their ongoing care.

Redesign

To create a more engaging and supportive experience, the profile screen was redesigned to function like a personalized dashboard. Upcoming appointments, health records, and actionable insights were surfaced prominently to help users stay informed and involved in their care. The layout was organized to maintain clarity and ensure key actions remained easily accessible, aligning the screen more closely with the user’s health journey.

The Lushi Concierge.

Lushi AI is an AI-powered chat feature that helps users take care of their booking needs, make suggestions, and answer their health questions.

This streamlined appointment management and improved user experience. Additionally, new widgets were added to make fertility tracking and appointment access simple and convenient.

Prevoius design & redesign

The fertility journey is core to the Lushi experience, but the original screen overemphasized a single metric and didn’t support user progress clearly.

The redesign breaks the journey into digestible phases, surfacing action items and progress in a structured, encouraging way. The result is a more empowering and usable experience that matches patients' real needs.

To support engagement and timely guidance, I designed contextual pop-up screens that surface key actions and encouragement at the right moments. These moments help users stay on track, without feeling overwhelmed. The designs follow the app’s visual system and tone, creating consistency across static and dynamic UI elements.
